Frequently asked questions
Is your artwork archival?
Yes. I work exclusively with a fully archival process. I use museum-quality wood panels and professional, plant-based acrylics, both handcrafted in the USA.
These materials are selected for their longevity and safety; they are non-toxic and free from the petroleum, heavy metals, and toxic off-gassing often found in standard art supplies. Because the natural and non-toxic mineral pigments are inherently UV-resistant, they offer unsurpassed lightfastness and a permanent finish that ensures the stability of the artwork over time.
Is the artwork ready to hang?
Yes. Each piece arrives ready to display with a professional zinc-coated steel sawtooth hanger pre-installed on the back. This hardware is chosen for its strength and rust resistance, ensuring your artwork remains securely mounted for years to come.
Is the work signed?
Yes. I sign each piece on the back so the front remains distraction-free. You will also find my original studio mark and a unique reference number on the back for your records.
Do you frame your artwork?
I do not offer framing, as I prefer the natural aesthetic of the bare wood grain on the sides of the panel. This organic look allows the piece to be hung as-is for a modern feel.
If you prefer a framed aesthetic, these panels are standard sizes and pair beautifully with floater frames, which can be easily found at most frame shops or online retailers to match your personal decor.
About the Artwork
How should I care for my artwork?
To maintain the quality of your piece, I recommend a simple approach to care:
Dusting: Gently whisk away surface dust as needed with a clean, dry, soft-bristled brush (like a soft artist’s brush).
Avoid Liquids: Do not use water or cleaners. Because the medium is plant-based and mineral-rich, moisture can dull the natural finish.
Surface Care: Acrylic is a pressure-sensitive medium. To prevent marks or fingerprints, avoid pressing on the painted surface and handle the artwork by the wood edges.
Placement: Avoid hanging the piece in prolonged, direct sunlight or areas of extreme humidity to ensure the wood panel remains stable over time.
How do you package the artwork?
I take great care to ensure your art arrives in perfect condition. Each piece is wrapped in moisture-resistant, acid-free materials to protect the paint surface, followed by reinforced corners and protective cushioning. Finally, it is secured in a heavy-duty box for safe transit.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I am happy to ship my work worldwide. All international orders are sent via FedEx with full insurance and a tracking number provided for your peace of mind.
Please keep the following in mind for international delivery:
Duties & Taxes: Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or VAT applied by their specific country upon arrival.
Final Sale: Due to the complexities of international logistics and customs, all sales outside the United States are final.
What if my package arrives damaged?
While I take great care in packaging every piece, I understand that accidents can happen during transit. Every shipment is fully insured for your peace of mind; in the rare event of damage, I will handle the insurance claim and ensure you receive a full refund or a replacement.
To process your claim, please follow these three steps:
1. Photograph: Take clear photos of the damaged exterior package (before opening), the internal packing materials, and the damaged artwork itself.
2. Retain: Keep all original packaging. The carrier (UPS/FedEx) often requires an inspection of the box to approve the insurance claim.
3. Notify: Email me these photos within 48 hours of delivery.
How is the artwork shipped within the U.S.?
I offer complimentary UPS shipping within the 48 contiguous United States. To ensure your artwork arrives safely, every shipment includes full insurance and a tracking number. Shipping rates for Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico will be calculated at checkout.
Shipping & Handling
When will my order ship?

What is your return & refund policy?
I want you to be entirely satisfied with your acquisition. If a piece does not perfectly suit your space, returns are accepted for domestic orders. Please note that all international sales are final due to the complexities of international freight and customs.
Refunds are issued minus a 15% processing fee to cover non-refundable merchant fees, original shipping/insurance, and handling.
To return a domestic order:
1. Notify: Email me at to initiate the process.
2. Ship: Return the artwork in its original condition and packaging. The buyer is responsible for return shipping and must provide full insurance coverage.
3. Arrival: The piece must arrive back at my studio within 14 days of the date it was delivered to you.
